Ancestors Toy Run 11th December 1pm
 

Hi Folks,

 
Every year the Ancestors Mcc organise a motorcycle run from Ballygowan to Saintfield then onto the Custom House Square were we are met by the Lord Mayor and the Emerald Garrison (Star Wars Star troopers) and ending up finally at the Ulster Hospitals Children’s unit. We are in the process of trying to organise a celebrity to meet  us as Ballygowan along with the Red Bull people and hopefully some musical accompaniment. All this to go along with the 300 hundred bikers and trikers who turn up many of whom were dressed up as Santa Claus.

This will be the 20^th year of the run to raise fund and collect toys for the Ulster Hospital Children’s ward. If it was not for the help from the generous people who pay money to join the run and who bring along a present  for the children it would make Christmas a much bleaker time for those poor children who won’t be at home for Christmas.

We invite all those from Ballygowan to come along and join in the atmosphere and the spectacle of the day. If anyone would like to donate anything towards the Children’s ward it would be greatly received, just look out for the high viz vests. We in the Ancestors are looking forward to the day and would like to thank all the  Ballygowan residents for their patience on the day.
